Ingredients

- 2 medium celery stalks (coarsely chopped)
- 1 quarter wedge of red onion (finely chopped)
- 3 tablespoons of capers 
- 1/3 cup of unsalted pistachios (coarsely chopped)
- 12 oz canned tuna in water (drained)
- 1/3 cup of AYOH Pickle Dill Mayo
- Country Bread
- American Cheese
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- Olive Oil

Steps:

  1. Combine chopped celery, onion, capers, pistachio, drained tuna, and mayo for the tuna mix and stir as needed to ensure thorough distribution.
  2. Adjust with pepper and salt for taste.
  3. On the stove, set your sautéed pan on medium high and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  4. Panfry your sliced bread until golden brown on one side only
  5. Remove sliced bread from the pan and assemble cheese and tuna mix onto the side that was grilled.
  6. Place each assembled sandwich back onto the pan until the outer sides are brown, 2-3 minutes.
  7. Press onto the sandwich as needed with a spatula to ensure the cheese melts.
  8. Remove from pan and cut up the sandwiches in halves. Enjoy warm!
