10-Minute Garlic Chili Oil Noodles
Some of the best noodle recipes come from keeping things simple. A handful of pantry ingredients, hot noodles straight from the pot, and a sauce that comes together before you're even done setting the table. It's the kind of meal people fall back on because it works on busy days, late nights, and those moments when cooking something complicated sounds exhausting.
Recipes for garlic chili oil noodles often call for separate oils, garlic, chilies, and seasonings layered together one by one. Mama Teav’s Hot Garlic Chili Crisp cuts out a lot of that work. One scoop brings garlic, heat, crunch, and rich savory umami flavor together, which means less prep and fewer ingredients sitting on the counter.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces noodles of choice (ramen, lo mein, rice noodles, or spaghetti)
- 2 tablespoons Mama Teav’s Hot Garlic Chili Crisp (OG Heat or Mild)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce or coconut aminos
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions and reserve a few tablespoons of the cooking water before draining.
- Add Mama Teav’s Hot Garlic Chili Crisp, soy sauce or coconut aminos, and rice vinegar to a large bowl.
- Add the hot noodles directly into the bowl and toss until evenly coated.
- Stir in a splash of reserved noodle water if needed to loosen the sauce.
- Finish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
This is the kind of recipe that earns a spot in regular rotation because it doesn't ask for much. The noodles stay silky, the garlic brings depth, and the chili crisp handles the heavy lifting in a single spoonful.
